iPACES Pedal for Parkinson's Sub-Study
The Parkinson’s Sub-Study explores whether regular “pedal-n-play” neuro-exergaming with iPACES can support brain health for people living with Parkinson’s disease. This year-long study involves exercising with iPACES at home using your smartphone, completing brief cognitive activities, and attending three half-day, in-person evaluation visits at a study site.
Participation in this sub-study does not replace the Main Study — it adds to it. To join the Parkinson’s Sub-Study, you must first be eligible for and enroll in the iPACES Main Study. The Parkinson’s Sub-Study includes everything required in the Main Study plus in-person visits and condition-specific assessments.

Study Equipment
Participants who do not already have compatible equipment can be provided with the equipment needed to pedal-n-play at home (funded by an NIH/NINDS grant). This may include a recumbent bike, a cadence meter, and a smartwatch to track activity and heart rate.
