  • Cay Anderson-Hanley, Ph.D.

    Founder/CEO of iPACES LLC and Co-PI

    Dr. Cay Anderson-Hanley is a clinical neuropsychologist, founder and CEO of iPACES LLC, and the Principal Investigator of this study. She is a Full Professor at Union College and co-director of the Neuroscience program, and has directed the Healthy Aging and Neuropsychology Lab at Union College where iPACES was first piloted. Additionally, Dr. Cay is a co-founder of Adirondack Neuropsychological Associates alongside Dr. Mina Dunnam. In her free time, Dr. Cay loves to spend time doing all things outdoors with her husband, three daughters, and three dogs.

  • Paul Arciero, Ph.D., FACSM, FTOS, FISSN

    Co-Owner of iPACES LLC and Co-PI

    Dr. Paul is an Applied Physiology and Nutrition Scientist. He is an expert in nutrition, fitness, and mind-body lifestyle interventions to optimize health and physical performance and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed research studies and 80 published abstracts on performance nutrition and exercise training in the world’s most respected science journals. He is Director of the Human Nutrition, Metabolism, and Performance Laboratory and professor in the Department of Health and Human Physiological Sciences at Skidmore College. He and his wife Karen have three sons, Nicholas, Noah and Aidan and enjoy spending time together and being outdoors.

  • Tobi Saulnier, Ph.D.

    Partner in iPACES LLC and Co-PI

    Tobi is the founder and CEO of 1st Playable Productions, Dr. Tobi Saulnier leads the creation of unique, ground breaking, interactive and innovative games. A technophile at heart, she started her career in R&D in embedded and distributed systems at General Electric Research and Development, where she also led initiatives in new product development, software quality, business strategy, and outsourcing. She's passionate about social entrepreneurship and the challenges of creating a community-centric local small business that can be sustainable in an aggressive global market. At home, Tobi spends her time raising and taking care of her goats.

  • John Arciero

    COO of iPACES LLC

    John Arciero is a business strategist, serial entrepreneur, and salesman extraordinaire with a long list of achievements. Through a proven combination of leadership, selling, and management skills, John has enabled leaders and companies to achieve their goals and ambitions.  John was a highly successful real estate developer prior to forming his first company in the corporate security sector. John has been involved in several successful startups and consulted dozens of clients across a range of industries including fintech, technology, banking, finance, and healthcare. When not working, he’s busy with his two grandsons and enjoys tennis and biking.

  • Stella Panos, Ph.D.

    Co-PI and Supervising Neuropsychologist

    Stella Panos, PhD, is a neuropsychologist who focuses on adult and geriatric neuropsychological assessment. As the Director of Neuropsychology at Pacific Brain Health Center, she works with patients who present with an array of medical/neurological illnesses (e.g. Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, Parkinson’s disease, HIV, traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, etc.) in various medical settings (acute inpatient, residential rehabilitation, outpatient). She is actively involved in NeuroAIDS research through the National Neurological AIDS Bank (NNAB) and serves on the Neuropsychology Subcommittee of the National NeuroAIDS Tissue Consortium.

  • Mina Dunnam, Ph.D.

    Co-PI and Supervising Neuropsychologist

    Dr. Mina is a clinical neuropsychologist that has retired from hospital practice and is currently in private practice. She is a co-founder of Adirondack Neuropsychological Associates alongside Dr. Cay Anderson-Hanley. In her free time, Dr. Mina loves to flower garden and hike. In fact, she has hiked across England.

  • Gary Warner, Ph.D.

    Supervising Neuropsychologist and Neuropsychological Evaluator

    Dr. Gary is a clinical neuropsychologist that has recently retired from Canandaigua Veteran Associates Medical Center. Dr. Gary is now working at the University of Rochester in the Geriatric Assessment Clinic. It is also important to note that Dr. Gary can generally muster empathy, but is completely devoid of it for teams and fans opposing the Buffalo Bills-- it's a real blind spot for him. He also likes to believe that he is good at golf.

  • Nicholas Arciero, B.S.

    Software Engineer

    Nick graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and has spent the last 7 years working in fintech and various tech startups. He spends most of his free time mountain biking, hiking and skiing across Colorado.

  • Josh Rogers-Pastio, B.S.

    Software Developer

    Josh recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Gordon College. Josh is excited and grateful to be contributing to this important research. In his free time, Josh writes music on guitar and is a board and card game enthusiast.

  • IreLee Ferguson, B.S.

    Clinical Research Coordinator

    IreLee recently graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Neuroscience. Over the past three years, IreLee has done clinical research with Dr. Cay Anderson-Hanley in the Healthy Aging and Neuropsychology Lab at Union College. In this lab, she gained experience with the iPACES system and administering neuropsychological assessments. IreLee also played basketball in college and currently coaches young basketball players.

  • Maria Victoria Erbella, Psy.D.

    Neuropsychological Evaluator

    Dr. Erbella is a bilingual, doctor of psychology graduate and a neuropsychological evaluator with extensive training in clinical research, memory disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, and neuropsychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, and chronic illnesses. She also specializes in clinical research and neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Erbella is also a self-taught nature photographer. She loves to travel and explore new cultures.

  • Valerie Needham, Psy.D., BCBA

    Neuropsychological Evaluator

    Dr. Needham is a licensed clinical psychologist and holds a BCBA certification. She has specialized in neuropsychological assessment and research, autism and neurodivergence, and comes from a neurodiversity affirming approach. Dr. Needham enjoys board and video games, travel, nature, watersports, and spending time with family and friends.

  • Shannel Kassis, M.S.

    Neuropsychological Evaluator

    Shannel has earned her M.S. in Psychology and is currently in her 4th year of her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology program. She has clinical experience in administering comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to adults and older adults who present with memory loss, subjective cognitive changes, traumatic brain injuries, tumors, and/or other neurocognitive difficulties. She is passionate about brain health, healthy aging, and physical exercise. Shannel is a newlywed and in her free time enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.

  • Natalie Do, Ph.D.

    Neuropsychological Evaluator

    Dr. Do recently completed her two year fellowship in Neuropsychology. She has clinical experience with memory disorders in the adult and geriatric population and conducting neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Do enjoys hiking through National Parks, cooking, and hosting themed dinners. Dr. Do is a cat and dog lover; she adores her new pandemic pet/Covid cat, who entered her life two years ago!
